Hypnite 3mg contains Eszopiclone which belongs to the class of medicines known as sedative – hypnotics.  Exact working of Hypnite is unknow. However, it is observed that it increases gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a natural chemical in the brain which slows down the function of brain causing you to sleep.

You must not take this medicine if you are able to get uninterrupted sleep of 7-8 hours.

Side Effects:

Eszopiclone can have mild or adverse side effects. You must consult your doctor I case of any abnormal behavior in the body. Some of the common side effects noticed after taking the medicine are:

How to take Eszopiclone?

Eszopiclone is a prescription-based medicine and must be taken in consultation with your doctor. The dosage depends on various factors such as:

1. Age of the patient
2. Medical History
3. Liver function

Typically, a pharmacist / medical practitioner gives low dosage to start with. Subsequently as your body gets used to it, the dosage is increased to the level your body require.
